COTRAV BLACK will debut as an exclusive platform for high-profile live events in India. The first notable event is A.R. Rahman's concert scheduled for November 1, 2026. This initiative aims to address concerns of privacy and crowd management faced by elite attendees. COTRAV BLACK will provide personalized hospitality in a private setting. It seeks to become a sought-after privilege for India's influential professionals.
New Delhi: COTRAV BLACK, backed by the business group behind travel management company COTRAV, has announced its entry into India's high-profile entertainment landscape as an ultra-premium live-experiences platform. With an invite-only VIP enclosure at popular concerts, sporting and cultural events, the brand said it is designed for India’s most elite business leaders, entrepreneurs, HNIs, and UHNIs. The company said the experience includes private VIP arenas with a fully curated guest list and complete privacy. The brand will make its debut at A.R. Rahman's concert at Jio World Center, Mumbai, on November 1, 2026.
Live-entertainment events are commanding enormous interest, with India's organised live-events industry growing 44% to Rs 14,500 crore in 2025 and projected to reach Rs 19,600 crore by 2028. However, crowd management, congested access points and limited privacy remain significant deterrents for high-profile audiences. The company said this has created an opportunity for exclusive, privately hosted settings that preserve the excitement and atmosphere of a live event without compromising privacy. COTRAV BLACK said its enclosures will also offer personalised hospitality, and an intimate experience for a 'discerning' audience.
Vinod Kumar Sah, co-founder and CTO of COTRAV, said India's live entertainment industry is attracting some of the biggest names in music, but the experience of attending these concerts hasn't kept pace with the scale of the events. "Crowd management, privacy and logistics remain serious considerations for many c-suite leaders and high-profile individuals," he said.
"There is a substantial audience that would love to be part of these occasions but chooses not to attend because of these challenges. COTRAV BLACK is our answer to that gap. We are creating an exclusive social setting where the country's most influential people can enjoy exceptional live performances, surrounded by the right company and the finest hospitality. Our ambition is for an invitation to COTRAV BLACK to become one of the most coveted privileges on India's entertainment calendar," he added.
